The Hyde Park Cluster of Interfaith Open Communities provides an opportunity for residents in and around the Hyde Park area of Chicago to become informed and active in addressing the problems of affordable housing.

The HPC/IOC has growing programs in Transitional Housing and HomeSharing within the Hyde Park community. In addition, it studies and supports political action to ameliorate the effects of gentrification and the destruction of public housing. In matters of political action it does not limit itself to local activism but supports legislation of importance to the whole Chicago region.

Meetings of the HPC/IOC take place on the 3rd Monday of each month at 8:00 p.m. in the

Augustana Lutheran Church
5500 S. Woodlawn Avenue
Chicago, IL 60615.
All are welcome to attend.
